Tilta's 53 to 55mm Seamless Focus Gear Ring allows you to add 0.8 MOD gears to a compatible lens for use with cine follow focuses. This 53 to 55mm size fits virtually all lenses of the same outer diameter. The seamless version is designed with an improvement over Tilta's earlier gear rings in that it's fully closed and requires no screws in order to be secured to the lens. As a result, it attaches to the lens more easily and provides evenly distributed pressure while ensuring zero drifting and accurate focus. It's made of durable, flexible rubber, attaches firmly, and works silent and smooth along 360° of rotation. The MOD rating and 53 to 55mm diameter size are etched out on the inside of the ring.

Have an older Mercury 40hp 2 stroke. This Solenoid worked perfectly. It is not that easy to install, due to the design of the engine. It does require a bit of patient and the right tools to do it. If you have big hands and don't do this type of repair to often, call a friend that is better than you to get some help :)
I have an older engine but it runs like charm. I will order an extra Solenoid and place in the box of "important spare parts" for the future.
Very good experience for the purchase and overall quality of the part.
